Åsa Maria Camnert

Åsa Maria Camnert is a fashion stylist, textile designer, and design strategist. She holds a Master’s degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute, New York, and a Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design from Central Saint Martins, London. Drawing from her textile background, her work is characterised by a strong sensitivity to colour, materiality, and silhouette, balancing contemporary fashion with eclectic references and cultural influences while often questioning prevailing ideals and dress codes. Her long-term practice explores the social, and emotional significance of textiles and fashion, and how these dimensions can be expressed and materialised through visual storytelling, performance and writing.
